Happy Holidays to all kids!

International Children's Day is celebrated on 1 June in almost all countries of the former socialist camp. It originates from the World Conference on Children's Health, held in 1925 in Geneva (Switzerland). In Bulgaria became popular after 1949, when Moscow announced that June 1 is considered to be the International Day for the Protection of Children. In countries with communist regimes holiday is officially called the International Day for the Protection of Children. Almost is not attributed to political coloration in celebration. After the change of political system in these countries the celebration is preserved. This day is one of the best preserved holidays for children.
